THE CLIENT & REQUIREMENT
BAS Brickwork needed extensive post-contract commercial support, including help recovering payment entitlement and preparing a disruption claim.
THE CHALLENGE
Payment certification was sitting well below entitlement, a measurement discrepancy of circa 300m2 needed pursuing, and a disruption claim valued at approximately £150,000 required preparation and substantiation.
OUR APPROACH
We provide extensive post-contract QS and commercial support, including payment applications, measurement reconciliation and tendering, alongside preparation of the disruption claim.
Commercial discussions were used to challenge and improve payment certification, while the BOQ measurement discrepancy is being actively pursued.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Payment certification increased from approximately £24,000 to £80,000 following recent commercial discussions. A disruption claim valued at approximately £150,000 is in preparation, and an additional circa 300m2 BOQ measurement discrepancy is being pursued.
