How our Consultants Helped (what did you/the QS team achieve on the project: The Fraddon substation project involved the full measurement, cost planning, and commercial management of a complete civil and electrical infrastructure package. We focused on accurate quantity take-off for earthworks, concrete, earthing, cable systems, drainage, and external works, along with risk assessment and cost control throughout the tender and delivery stages. Overall, the objective was to ensure the project is commercially viable, delivered within budget, and managed efficiently from tender through to completion.
